Canine Good Citizen is five sessions long. Four sessions are class time and the final session is for testing. Each session is 1 hour and 15 minutes in length.

Canine Good Citizen is for dogs over 18 weeks of age. Completion of Head Start, Puppy Fun Class or similar positive-reinforcement course including clicker training is required for this class. Proof of rabies vaccination and pre-registration are required. All dogs must be non- aggressive towards other dogs.

Head Start or Puppy Fun Class is a pre-requisite for this class.
