Happy Hour Lecture Series & Workshops

Pet First Aid classes
The San Diego Humane Society and SPCA, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, is pleased to offer a Pet First Aid certification class. This four-hour class includes suggested treatments for choking or breathing difficulties, possible broken bones, shock, poisoning or snakebites, carsickness or temperature illnesses, and more. Doggie Cafe
Looking for something fun to do on a Friday night? Have fun socializing with other dog lovers and their dogs while you practice teaching your dog how to be calm around exciting distractions like people, other dogs and food! read more»

Campus Tours
For small and large groups, these interactive tours move around our state-of-the-art facility. read more»

Information Booths
We take education into the community with our Information Booths. We feature our booth at special events, fairs and conferences throughout San Diego County. Staff and trained volunteers manage the booths and are prepared to answer questions about the Humane Society.To have our information booth at your next event, call the Community Engagement at (619) 243-3490 or email ewills@sdhumane.org.

Wag & Walk Meet-Up
Enjoy time outside exercising and socializing with other dog lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.  Twice a month, the San Diego Humane Society ventures out to dog friendly parks in North and Central County with hikes of varying distances and ability.  Staff and volunteers will lead  the pack providing motivation and information!   To learn more>>
