Wag & Walk Meet-Up Group

Twice a month, San Diego Humane Society ventures out to dog friendly parks around the county for hikes of varying distances and ability.

Staff and volunteers lead the pack, providing motivation and information.

These interactive tours explore our state-of-the-art facility and offer a rare behind-the-scenes look at our programs and services.

Pet First Aid classes

Pet First AidSan Diego Humane Society, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, is pleased to offer a Pet First Aid certification class.

This four-hour class includes suggested treatments for choking or breathing difficulties, possible broken bones, shock, poisoning or snakebites, temperature illnesses, and more.

Classes offered rotate between our campuses.

Humane Academy ClassEach month San Diego Humane Society offers lectures on topics related to pets and pet parenting.

Information Booths

Information FairWe feature our booth at special events, fairs and conferences throughout San Diego County. Staff and trained volunteers manage the booths and are prepared to answer questions about the Humane Society, its programs, and initiatives.
