Happy Hour Lecture Series & Workshops
On the third Thursday of each month the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA holds a Happy Hour Lecture on an interesting topic related to pets and pet parenting. We also hold workshops on more in-depth topics.Each lecture includes materials, light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Proceeds benefit the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA.
Agressive and Reactive Behavior in Dogs Lecture Thursday, September 16, 6:30 p.m.- 8 p.m. Cost: $12 (Includes materials, light snacks, and non-alcoholic refreshments)
Do you worry about how your dog reacts to people or other
dogs in various situations? Learn what reactive
and aggressive dog behavior is and more importantly, what you can
do about it. This lecture by Margaret Lenoir, Humane Society Behavior Trainer
and CPDT (Certified Pet Dog Trainer), will help you better understand this
expansive topic and provide resources for seeking appropriate treatment for your dog.

Come learn about some wonderful holistic modalities that can help keep your pet happy & healthy. All dogs can benefit from treatments, such as Canine massage, Acupressure, Reiki and EFT (emotional freedom techniques). These are very effective for various physical ailments, emotional and behavioral issues, and preventative care.
