Campus Tours

Adult and Youth Group Tours
Guided Tours are available for groups of all sizes and ages. These interactive tours explore the facility providing information about responsible pet care, animal behavior and safety, and what to consider when choosing a pet. Animal encounters cannot be guaranteed and are based on animals available at the time of your tour.

Scout Programs

Boy Scouts:
Boy Scouts are welcome to join us for all level of scouts.


Girl Scout Programs:
Girl Scouts are invited to fulfill Journey requirements and can also work on their Bronze, Silver and Gold awards with us.

   
Scouts - Playful Paws Badge  Playful Paws
A unique program for scouts of all levels. Work as a team to create behavior enrichment items for our adoptable animals! Playful Paws patch is included! Please note: Playful Paws is a 60 minute program.
   
Brownies Scouts Daisy Petals Badge Daisies
Participate in Journey activities from the book "3 Cheers for Animals!" and earn requirements towards Petal Badges!
   
Scouts - Brownies Pets Badge Brownies
Learn how we care for animals and complete requirements towards the new Pets Badge!
   
Juior Animal habitats badge Juniors
Learn about wild and domestic animal habitats and complete requirements towards the Animal Habitats Badge! Read “Super Shelter Makers” from the Agent of Change Journey book and come see a real super shelter in action!
   
Scouts - Animal Helper badge Cadettes
Meet the hard working animals in our Pet Assisted Therapy Program and earn requirements towards the Animal Helpers Badge!
   

 

Scout programs are available at both our Central Campus in San Diego and our North Campus at our Airport Road location in Oceanside. All programs are developed in accordance with Girl Scout Journey requirements.
