Choosing A Trainer:
The Benefits of Positive Reinforcement

The San Diego Humane Society and SPCA is dedicated to helping dog owners learn how to develop and maintain happy life-long relationships with their pet dogs. Our behavior training classes are designed for people who want their dogs to mind them without having to rely on choke chains or harsh words. This is achieved by teaching owners how to use scientific positive reinforcement training techniques to shape the appropriate behaviors in their dogs.

Why Use Positive Reinforcement? In short, because it works! Free yourself from the hassle of nagging your dog and start enjoying his or her company. Teach your dog in a way that he can understand, and you will be amazed at how willing he is to learn. Positive reinforcement isn't a shortcut training "technique" - it's a way to build a relationship.
