Foundation for Dog Sports
Learn the skills needed to help your dog get ready for participation in dog sports.
Foundation for Dog Sport is an intermediate-level class designed to help dogs and owners together learn the skills necessary for beginning their dog sport choice.
Course Topics include:
- How to teach your dog to play nicely with you
- Building motivation, attention, and impulse control
- How to teach complex behaviors
- And More!
Foundation for Dog Sports is 6 sessions long and each session is 1 hour and 15 minutes in length. Class size is restricted to 6 dogs for a maximum one-on-one training time.
Foundation for Dog Sports is designed to meet the needs of dogs over 18 weeks old that have completed a basic positive- reinforcement training class-including clicker training-such as Puppy Fun Class or Head Start.
Proof of rabies vaccination and pre-registration are required. All dogs must be non-aggressive towards other dogs.
This class is $149 for all six sessions, and includes informative handouts and prizes
