Owner Requested Euthanasia
The San Diego Humane Society and SPCA provides a serene and humane place to euthanise your pet. We provide an environment that is respectful and sensitive to you and your pet's needs. Owners can choose to be present if they wish and can utilize our Serenity Garden and private parking to collect their thoughts.

An appointment is required 24 hours in advance for Owner Present Euthanasia. Please note that we will not euthanize healthy pets. After care costs are determined by the weight of pet and requested care. General aftercare is by mass cremation through the San Diego Pet Memorial Park.
Individual cremation is also available through the following providers:
San Diego Pet Memorial Park (mention the San Diego Humane Society and receive a discount)
AA Sorrento Valley Pet Cemetary and Crematory
We also provide a Pet Loss Support Group as an additional resource for those who have lost a pet or are considering euthanasia.
