Project KEPPT (Keeping Every Person and Pet Together) was created to provide education, resources, and services to assist our community in keeping their companion animals and to enhance the human-animal bond.

Project KEPPT hosts a twice monthly companion animal food bank, licensing, microchipping, behavior and training advice, companion animal friendly housing referrals, and veterinary financial aid referrals.

If you need help or know someone who does, please contact our Project KEPPT Coordinator at 619.299.7012 ext 2907 or email ahoang@sdhumane.org

Project KEPPT MobileProject KEPPT Mobile

Project KEPPT Mobile brings helpful resources into the community, enabling us to reach more people and make a difference in the lives of more animals. Project KEPPT Mobile is a program that allows us to respond to many educational, basic behavioral, and financial needs of the community.

Each month, staff members of San Diego Humane Society and SPCA travel into different neighborhoods, all throughout San Diego County. By hitting the streets and visiting communities, we can bring SDHS into the community in a positive way. Brand new pet supplies are donated to members of the community and free advice and tips are given personally by our trainers.

Our goal with the Project KEPPT Mobile outreach program is to help dogs and cats live better lives, help strengthen the bond between pets and their families, and to help remedy behavior problems before pet owners turn to relinquishment as a last resort.
