Oceanside's Only Dog Park Expands Hours of Operation
OCEANSIDE, CA - As of Thursday, April 1, 2010, the San
Diego Humane Society and SPCA Dog Park will open Wednesdays and the month of
April. Since the park opened in 2006, it
had been closed every Wednesday and for the month of April for
maintenance. Guests of the park may find
the park closed on an as needed basis to address any maintenance issues
throughout the year. To check on daily
park conditions call 760-757-4357, ext. 1265, the line is updated every morning
at 8:00AM. The dog park will remain closed on rainy days and the day after if
muddy. It is the San Diego Humane Society's policy to keep the park closed
until the ground is dry, which can take up to two days. The dog park is open
from 7AM - 7PM, 7 days a week. The dog park is owned and operated by the San
Diego Humane Society and SPCA, a non-profit organization. All concerns should
be submitted to the North Campus office during normal business hours.
