July Volunteers of the Month
 Congratulations to Easter Seals, the July 2010 Volunteer of the Month. The Easter Seals team: Veronica, Leslie, Jeremy and their job coach Jackeline volunteer once a week cleaning windows to help beautify the habitats at the Gaines Street Campus

Easter Seals has been helping individuals with disabilities and special needs, and their families, live better lives for more than 90 years. Whether helping someone simply gain greater independence for everyday living, or secure employment, Easter Seals offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities address life's challenges and achieve personal goals. Easter Seals Southern California serves more than 2,000 adults and children with disabilities and their families annually through 70 offices and services sites.
Why do you like to volunteer at the San Diego Humane Society?
“I like to go to the Humane Society and volunteer there cleaning the windows so the animals can have clean windows and their place is going to look very nice and clean. I also like to go there for the people the way they talk to us and also their smiles and when we need anything to clean better they immediately provide it and are very professional. Thanks for giving me the chance to be helpful and also learn more skills for my own life.” —Veronica Espinoza
“I like to volunteer at the Humane Society because I love dogs and cleaning their windows will help them to feel more comfortable and also for the staff they are very, very, very special and nice and kind to me and I like that.
