Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you so much for considering volunteer work with the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA! As a volunteer you will be joining a talented group of more than one thousand people who generously donate over 100,000 hours of their time every year. We are grateful for the enthusiasm, dedication and love they share with us every single day.
We are fortunate to receive many requests to become a volunteer. It is important to us that volunteer service be a full and meaningful experience for everyone who participates. Because of this, we recruit new volunteers for our general program on an every other month basis. This gives us time to meet the hundreds of people who submit applications and make sure they are properly placed in a program and receive complete training before they begin. Visit our FAQ page »
Current General Volunteer Opportunities Applications are now being accepted for these areas only. Please submit
the general volunteer application to be considered for any of these
volunteer assignments. If you don’t find a volunteer opportunity that
suits your interests and skills, please check back here on July 5, 2013
as we will post new opportunities then!
