Bella's bio
Bella is a sweet gal with an adorable purrsonality. This social lady has lived with other cats and a dog in her previous home and did well with all of them, although a proper introduction is always recommended. Bella is a great balance of both affectionate and independent. Her previous owners described Bella as an independent girl, although she does seek out attention and a good head scratch from her people! She'll even lay up against you or in your lap for some quality time. She can be an active kitty who loves playtime, especially with other cats - so she may benefit from having a cat friend to keep her company. Bella is picky about her litterbox in that she may not want to share it, and prefers her litter box to be kept clean, but can you blame her? (You can watch a sweet little video of Bella HERE.)
What Bella will need from her new family: Since Bella has a history of having some litter box issues, her adopter must be willing to clean Bella's litter box daily and potentially try different litter and boxes to find Bella's ideal match. Her behavior should be monitored to make sure the litter box is being used consistently. Bella also has a chronic head tilt and chronic nasal discharge. Though it doesn't affect her happiness or zest for life, this sweet girl will have to be given medication in her new home to help make her more comfortable. Her new family will need to continue her care and consult a veterinarian to make sure that she's feeling her best! If you give Bella the love and compassion she deserves, she will be forever grateful! Our amazing medical team has been giving Bella a lot of TLC to treat these conditions and would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
We sincerely appreciate adopters that are willing to provide special homes for kitties like Bella and we gladly waive the adoption fee.
