What do you like best about Freyja's personality? This sweet girl has a lively and affectionate personality that makes everyone around her smile. And true to her shepherd nature, Freyja is sharp as a tack and eager to learn! She’s a great listener and working on mastering a number of commands. Freyja’s always interested in new ways to challenge her mind, whether it’s puzzle toys or learning new tricks!
What first drew you to your pick? When I first met Freyja, her previous owner had just brought her into the SDHS. She was happy as could be, trying to get me to play fetch with her from inside her habitat. Her spirit and infectious personality instantly drew me to her. You could just tell that she was the type of dog that was always happy and just wanted to play!
Is there something special about the way your pick looks or behaves? Freyja's vibrant tri-color coat, long legs and big brown eyes make her stand out. Every walk, she is stopped by at least one kind stranger and told how cute she is. She truly is such a beautiful dog!
What is his coolest/silliest/most unique trait? Freyja gets what we call "kangaroo hops". When she gets excited (usually on walks), she hops in the air like the cutest kangaroo!
Anything else that makes your pick super awesome? Freyja is truly a special soul who is full of so much love and positive energy. She's the life of every party and does great meeting new people, including young children. She's a resilient girl who just wants a family to call her own.
