Ciroc Rocks. …no like, for reals. This guy’s awesome.

Animal ID: 156589

Volunteer: Tea M.

Belly-rub enthusiast.  Adorable goofball.  Extraordinary athlete.  Snuggle expert.  Avid learner.  …These descriptions all have one dog in common: Ciroc! And now, “volunteer pick” can be added to the list!

Here, Canine Companion volunteer, Tea, shares some more about this lovable guy who’s currently available for adoption at our Escondido Campus…

What do you like best about his personality?
“I like his enthusiasm and joyful outlook.”

What first drew you to your pick?
“I think I first loved how cute he is and his excited face.”

Is there something special about the way your pick looks?
“He gets a lot of attention and comments about how muscle-y he seems but I think my favorite thing about his looks are his adorable black patches. I especially love how he has a black patch on just one eye.”

What is his coolest/silliest/most fun trait?
“Ciroc loves to learn new tricks. Right now he is really good at shaking with his paw and spinning in a circle when asked. He is learning to ‘play dead’ and he really hams it up while laying on his back ‘dead.’ His upside-down face looking up at me with an expression that seems to say, ‘Did I do it right?’ makes me laugh every single time.

Ciroc also enjoys playing on the agility equipment in the exercise yard. He races up and down the ramps, runs through the tunnel and he will hop up on any play structure that I point to. When he gets done he loves to sit next to me on a bench and cuddle up close.”

Anything else you’d like to add?
“I think the way he greets his human friends at the shelter is awesome. When Ciroc likes you he will greet you with so much enthusiasm that you will feel like a rock star.”

Ciroc, the 3-year old sweetheart with a goofy grin, is available for adoption at our Escondido Campus. Come on by and meet this staff & volunteer favorite today!
