Sweet tortie looking for a 2nd chance

Animal ID: 176605

Employee: Kathy G.

Jillian was just a kitten when she first came to SDHS, rescued as an orphan by a Humane Officer. Unfortunately after spending two & 1/2 years in a home, she is now back in our care and looking for a second chance at a loving home. The transition has been a little challenging for her, understandably, but although she can be shy at first, she warms up quickly and has managed to capture all of our hearts with her sweet disposition. Adoptions Counselor, Kathy, is particularly smitten with her and was eager to share more about why she chose Jillian as her employee pick and what makes her so special…

What do you like best about her personality?
“Jillian is bright-eyed and chatty; she loves to be fussed over by the volunteers.”

What first drew you to your pick?
“She is a long-term kitty that would love to be indoor/outdoor if the environment is safe, or have a “catio” set up in the home.”

Is there something special about the way your pick looks?
“She is beautiful and has perfectly round eyes that hypnotize you every time you look at her! Being a blue and cream tortie makes her a color favorite, too.”

What is her coolest/silliest/most unique trait?
“When you open Jillian’s x-pen and sit with her, she flips her tail over, parallel to her back – a very happy tail!”

Anything else you’d like to add about your pick?
“Jillian is a sweet little girl who only shows her shyness when first meeting people. Within a short time she will be head bumping you, telling you her favorite stories and wanting to be pet all day!”
