San Diego Humane Society welcomes you to the United States of America. We’re here to provide excellent care for your pet until you can be reunited with them.
A Humane Officer will safely transport your dog to our San Diego Campus. There, our staff will provide safe shelter and loving care until the animal can be cleared from legally required quarantines and returned to you.
To help us provide the best care possible for your pet, please:
- Provide the Humane Officer with any important information about your dog (such as medical, behavior or dietary concerns).
- Provide your detailed contact information so that our staff can keep in touch with you.
- Keep the Impound Card provided to you by the Humane Officer. This will serve as your receipt.
