San Diego Campus Adoptions Building
The state-of-the-art Adoptions Center at our San Diego Campus represents our commitment to setting national standards for animal care — and to bringing our community together through our shared passion for animals.
Every inch of this space reflects our community’s collective commitment to creating a brighter future for animals and will provide an improved experience for hundreds of thousands of homeless pets in the coming years.
Working over the course of two years with our partners from J&J Construction and COAR Design Group, every aspect of the space was designed to facilitate adoptions, improve the emotional and mental well-being of the pets in our care and enhance the experience for our guests. This includes interactive digital kiosks, more play yards for dogs, catios for cats to enjoy the San Diego sunshine, specially designed housing for small companion animals and soundproofed habitats. Additionally, the dog kennels are custom designed to increase comfort and reduce their stress while animals are in our care.
Each year, our San Diego Campus cares for more than 10,000 homeless pets, and our Adoptions Center will give them the best possible shelter experience while they wait for loving homes.
A project of this vision and scope was only made possible by our incredible supporters — and our incredible community of animal lovers. This space is a reflection of our collective spirit of compassion for animals.
