It’s been a busy month!
As always, there’s a lot going on here at San Diego Humane Society. Over the past month, we’ve seen fires ravaging our state, taken in animals affected by Hurricane Laura and continued to deal with the challenges of the global pandemic. On top of that, we’ve also added two new campuses to San Diego Humane Society, taking us to five campuses in total!

In the midst of all that’s happening, we have so much to celebrate. That’s why we’re so excited for our Fur Ball 2020 campaign. Ordinarily, at the beginning of fall we’d be putting the finishing touches on our annual Fur Ball gala. Due to social distancing, we aren’t able to join together in person this year — but the animals still need us! That’s why we are inviting our community to celebrate the true magic of Fur Ball: your generosity for animals and the lifesaving difference it makes.
Learn more, donate and browse our silent auction items by Oct. 3 at sdhumane.org/furball.
