A look back at 2020.

There’s no question that this has been a challenging year. But thanks to the support of our community, it’s been a year of hope, healing and second chances for animals in need.

Throughout 2020, we were able to continue being there for the people, pets and wildlife who needed us. We hope you enjoy this look back at everything you helped make possible. With 2021 right around the corner, we can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Important Update: Owner Surrender Services

All San Diego Humane Society campuses (including San Diego, El Cajon, Escondido and Oceanside locations) are currently unable to take in owner-surrendered dogs on a walk-in basis, except in cases of emergency that threaten the health of the pet.
