Enrichment is critical to your pet's success at home, particularly during challenging times like these when our schedule and routines are more likely to be unstable. Enrichment includes activities that are mentally stimulating and help keep pets of all types engaged and burning energy. Learn how enrichment can change your pet's life - from keeping them thinking and out of trouble to a useful part of a behavior modification plan. Learn how to create a range of enrichment activities for all sorts of pets from items you already have in your home. While this talk focuses on dogs and cats, all pet owners are encouraged to sign up! Whether your pets are furry or feathered (or even scaled!) enrichment can improve their quality of life and be a lot of fun for you both!
You can never be too prepared in case of emergencies and neither can your pets! Come learn how to plan for emergencies, what supplies your pets will need, what to do with your pets in case of evacuations, and more from a representative from our Humane Law Enforcement team.
Reiki Master and Nationally Certified Small Animal and Equine Acupressure Practitioner, Nedra, shares the basic principles of acupressure and traditional Chinese medicine, which can offer dogs and cats a natural method of enhancing their physical and mental well-being.
