Face-to-Face Fundraising

NCE Fundraiser Kevin

As part of our face-to-face fundraising efforts, you may encounter fundraisers representing San Diego Humane Society on busy streets, outside local businesses or going door-to-door in your neighborhood. These professionals are dedicated fundraisers managed by New Canvassing Experience who have been contracted to work on San Diego Humane Society’s behalf to help raise crucial funds that support our work!

The primary goal of our face-to-face fundraisers is to recruit new Constant Companion monthly donors. Monthly donations make a lifesaving difference for animals all year long, providing us with the consistent, reliable funds necessary to care for over 40,000 pets and wildlife each year.

Here's how you'll know you're speaking with an authorized San Diego Humane Society fundraiser:

  • They are wearing a teal shirt with San Diego Humane Society’s logo.
  • They have a badge with prominently displayed identification.
  • They have an electronic tablet to securely process donations.
  • They will use the term “Constant Companion,” which refers to San Diego Humane Society’s monthly donor program and is unique to our organization.
  • They will never ask for cash. Fundraisers are only permitted to accept monthly recurring gifts through our secure online donation form.

If you have any questions, concerns or feedback about our fundraisers, please contact us at [email protected] or 619-243-3434.
